Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage

Are you ready to experience a deep tissue massage with an experienced, licensed therapist and a masterful touch?  At Jennifer Brand Spa, our deep tissue massage therapists have the skill, precision, and strength to deliver the peace and pain relief you seek.

Experience Your Perfect Pressure

If you enjoy a deep tissue massage, it is likely because you want to feel it. But that “feel it” sensation isn’t necessarily pain or a “hurts so good” experience, as many assume. Instead, it is the pleasure of feeling pain fade as it is replaced with comfort and ease.

People who want firmer pressure typically prefer it because they can’t feel a lighter touch, or a gentle touch feels annoying. Other times, they want it because friends, family, or physicians have told them it’s what they need.

If you want to experience a traditional deep tissue massage, we have several outstanding deep tissue massage therapists who can provide you with the experience you seek. As a specialized pain management spa, each licensed massage therapist uses a unique approach to help you find the peace, ease, and pain relief you seek.

Benefits of Deep Tissue Massage

This treatment helps release chronic muscle tension and discomfort, improve local circulation, and support recovery. You may notice less pain from overuse, posture, or old injuries, along with increased flexibility and range of motion.

This type of work is especially effective for easing tightness in your neck, shoulders, back, hips, and legs, helping you move more freely and feel more comfortable in daily life. People with desk-related tension, who want to improve athletic recovery, or who have long-standing tightness often see significant benefit from frequent deep tissue massages.

These benefits tend to build over time, so when our clients schedule regularly, they often notice a clear cumulative improvement in how they feel and move.

What to Expect

Typically, your session will last 60 to 90 minutes, but longer sessions are available. We ask clients to arrive 10 minutes before their session to allow time for a thorough consultation and to get settled in the treatment room.

During your consultation, we will discuss your areas of concern, pressure preferences, and any precautions we need to be aware of.

After your consultation, your therapist will leave the treatment room so you can undress to your comfort level in private and get onto the table under the sheet and blanket. Draping is mandatory; you may not remove the sheets if you are not wearing clothing.

When your session begins, your therapist typically starts with lighter techniques, gradually increasing until they have reached your perfect pressure.

Your therapist will periodically ask you how you are feeling and if the pressure is good. Let them know if you feel uncomfortable for any reason, and they will do their best to accommodate you.
