Headaches & Migraine Relief

Stiff Neck

This treatment may address the suboccipital muscles at the base of the skull, the anterior, vertebral, and posterior neck muscles, the trapezius of the upper back, the erector spinae group, and the multifidus of the sacrum. It may include hot and cold stones, ice, heat packs, red light therapy and warming lotion.

Between the Shoulder Blade Pain

This treatment targets the rhomboids, trapezius, erector spinae group, latissimus dorsi, and subscapularis. It may include hot or cold stones, ice,  hydrocollator or cold packs, and warming lotion.

Upper Back Pain

This upper back treatment uses methods similar to those for a stiff neck and between-the-shoulder pain, as the pain patterns are similar. However, it tends to use broader strokes to address a larger service area to promote regional pain relief. Depending on the type and location of the pain, the lower back may be a secondary focus.

Spine Relief

This addresses pain along the spine and between each vertebra. It is helpful for people who are experiencing decreased trunk rotation range of motion or discomfort in the area. Additionally, it may focus on postural muscles to reduce posture-related pain and support skeletal stabilization.

Sciatic Pain

Sciatica is a complex pain that may be experienced anywhere from the glutes to the toes. It often involves inflammation, nerve pain, and significant discomfort.

When addressing sciatic pain, the first goal is to help reduce central sensitization using sensory desensitization. Central sensitization is a neurological state that can result in hyperesthesia (hypersensitivity to touch) or allodynia (painful response to ordinary stimuli).

Sciatic pain is often treated using a combination of techniques employed to address SI Joint, Leg, Foot, and Lower Back pain.

This treatment focuses on the erector spinae of the lower back, glutes, and the multifidus covering the sacrum. It may include red light therapy, leg air compression, cold and hot stones, ice, microstretching, stretching, and warming lotion. In certain instances, vacuum cupping may also be utilized.

Leg Pain

Leg pain, specifically of the upper leg, focuses on the quads, hamstrings, and glutes. It may include red light therapy, leg air compression, vibration or percussive therapy, tapotement, cold and hot stones, ice, microstretching, stretching, and warming lotion. In certain instances, vacuum cupping or a vibration plate may also be utilized.

Knee Pain

This treatment focuses on three hamstrings, gastrocnemius, gracilis, the sartorius near the knee, and the quadriceps. It may include red light therapy, leg air compression, cold and hot stones, ice, and warming lotion.

Foot Pain

This treatment focuses on the foot and calf. It may include red light therapy, leg air compression, vibration, tapotement, cold and hot stones, ice, hot or cold packs, sugar scrub, heated or chilled spa boots, hot towels, and warming lotion.

Lower Back Pain

This treatment focuses on the latissimus dorsi, the erector spinae group, the multifidus, the quadratus lumborum (QL), and the glutes. Depending on the type of pain experienced, the abdominal and upper back muscles may also be addressed.

Additionally, this treatment may include red light therapy, leg air compression, vibration or percussive therapy, tapotement, cold and hot stones, ice, microstretching, stretching, and warming lotion. In certain instances, vacuum cupping may also be utilized.
