Massage Frequency
Massage frequency is how often you receive a treatment. When you create and maintain patterns of safety that the brain can recognize, it encourages the pain system to default to a state of peace rather than pain.
Expected Results
When should I expect results? People often experience profound results from a pain management massage in one session because of its hyper-focused approach.
Its most transformative results appear after a routine of treatments, because regular sessions help fortify the newly created positive neurotags.
Neurotags are what the brain uses to determine whether it is safe or needs to create pain. If positive neurotags are abundant, it will believe it is safe and refrain from causing unnecessary pain.
Neurotags
Neurotags have a shelf life because they compete with a lifetime of painful programs. Everywhere we turn, we are being pressured toward a state of fear.
A single pain management massage can provide transformative results, but the weight of the world will eventually undo them. Just like anything in life, practice makes perfect. We have to train our brains to feel safe.
Each session strengthens the brain’s sense of safety by reinforcing the evidence that it is safe. My goal is to help you train your brain so you no longer experience persistent pain. Using these methods, I escaped chronic soul-crushing pain, and I have faith they will help you once again experience delightful days.
How Long Do The Benefits Last?
The duration of a session’s benefits varies from person to person; it could be months, weeks, or days. Everyone is different, which is why pain management massage uses a personalized approach.
In a world without guarantees, I offer one: you will feel more relaxed by the end of your visit. However, due to the nature of pain, stress, and the weight of the world, there is no guarantee that you will feel this way in perpetuity.
I want, hope, and pray that you will live a pain-free life. One where you can celebrate every second with the people you love and adore.
Massage Frequency
The frequency of your massages depends on your needs. It is determined by how long the micropatterns of each session are retained as neurotags. The longer your brain feels safe, the longer you can go before your brain begins to revert to its old patterns of pain.
My goal is to help you rewire your pain system so it no longer creates unnecessary pain. Ultimately, I would like you to reach a point where you come see me once a month, or when you just want to be celebrated.
When you have hope your will always have the skills to cope.
When Should I Rebook?
If your pain is completely alleviated in your first session, I suggest scheduling an appointment within two weeks. This two-week period will reveal the strength of the positive neurotags created in the session.
- If the pain returns within two weeks, count the number of pain-free days. This will be the number of days to schedule between each session.
- If, at two weeks, the pain has not returned, the frequency of your sessions should be every 2-4 weeks.
Sometimes the pain can return a day or two after the massage, then fade away. This is common in people who have not received a professional massage for a while.
The S Wave Of Improvement
Pain management is the pursuit to rewire a lifetime of acquired discomfort, which can take time.
Improvement is not a linear path. Just like the sine wave of economics, our quality of life tends to follow an S-shaped wave of decline and growth. Having this knowledge in your back pocket will help you self-regulate as you navigate the road to recovery and pain relief.
